Anna Lam
Dr. Anna Lam completed her Endocrinology and Islet Transplantation fellowship at the University of Alberta where she is currently Assistant Professor in the Division of Endocrinology. During her fellowship, she completed a Master of Science on the application of a clinical composite measure of beta cell function, known as the BETA-2 score, in islet transplantation and new onset type 1 diabetes. Building on this and using her expertise on composite measures of beta cell function, she will work as a core member of TOMI to identify and test potential endpoints in type 1 diabetes immune intervention trials.
